Jurassic Park is a 1993 American science fiction thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. The film centers on the fictional Isla Nublar in Costa Rica, where billionaire philanthropist John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) and a team of genetic scientists from his company have created an amusement park of cloned dinosaurs.

Setting Analysis
The story is set at a Theme Park with tons of reseachers deveopling dinosaur eggs. The setting of the story has various locations but they are all located amoung the park where the dinosaurs are being held. The setting of the story plays a huge role in the movie. It places everyone out of their comfort zones and makes them have to adapt to what is going on around them. It makes the characters grow and realize this was not a good idea attend the park. The atmosphere helps the movie grow from just being about dinosaurs to somewhat scary and suspenseful. The audience and the characters in the film do not know what is going to happen next, they are alone at the park with dangerous dinosaurs.
